200 Club

200 Club Rules

1: The name of the draw is the 200 Club regardless of the number of shares.

2: The purpose of the 200 Club is to raise funds for the sole benefit of Chesham Cricket Club ("the Club").

3: The 200 Club will be administered by a Promoter appointed by the Management Executive Committee of the Club.

4: 50% of the total annual subscriptions will be paid out in the form of prizes.

Prizes will be set on a pro rata basis of the actual numbers of participants at the time of each draw. The 200 Club shall run from 1st January to 31st December each year.

5: The 200 Club will be open to anybody aged 16 or over. A purchaser of a share becomes a participant and is entitled to hold any number of shares.

6: The number of shares in the 200 Club shall be unlimited and each share shall be allocated a unique number. Tickets however will not be issued. Participants may discover the number of their allocated share by contacting the Promoter.

7: The subscription for each share is £12 per annum.

All participants must pay in advance by Standing Order or cheque (made payable to Chesham Cricket Club).

8: There shall be a draw made for each calendar month. The draw is to be made at least quarterly.

All participants are entitled to attend the draws, which must be held in the presence of at least 1 member of the Club Executive Committee on such occasions and times as the Promoter shall deem appropriate.

Prize winning numbers will be drawn at random.

9: Winners will be paid by cheque, which will be sent to the last known address held by the promoter. It is the responsibility of the participant to advise the Promoter of any change of address. Any prize cheque not cashed within 6 months will be deemed a donation to the Club.

10: The Promoter will not pay a prize to any Participant other than the purchaser of a winning share.

11: No 200 Club participant will be included in the draw if the annual subscription has not been received. It is the responsibility of each Participant to make sure they have paid their subscription. The promoter reserves the right to reallocate any number where payment has not been received.

12: Participants can cancel their entry at any time by giving one month's written notice to the Promoter. Any decision by the Club to end the 200 Club will also be by one month's notice to all Participants.

13: Under no circumstances can subscriptions be refunded.

14: The Promoter will determine any dispute. An appeal may be made to the Club Management Executive Committee whose decision shall be final.

15: The 200 Club is intended to be a private lottery under the provisions of the Gambling Act 2005 Section 14.

16: The Club Executive Committee may amend or vary the rules of the 200 Club at any time.

50% of what we receive will go to the Prize fund and the remaining 50% to support CheshamCC.

For an annual payment of £12 for each number, you will be entered into a monthly draw.

Each monthly draw will have the following approximate monthly prizes (based on 100 numbers sold).

First Prize: £20
Second Prize: £10

Except in June & December:
First Prize: £25
Second Prize: £10

(Prizes will be on a pro rata basis of the actual Participants in each draw. So the more that join the larger the Prizes).
